Anne helped us get ready for a big cross country move, and she could not have been more helpful. We had to do a lot of downsizing, from furniture to old clothes to printers, and Anne handled it perfectly. If you’ve got a crazy, chaotic, totally bonkers situation that you do not know how to deal with, Anne is perfect for you. She’s patient and thoughtful and can answer any questions you have. Plus, she knew the best way to donate everything: she took our odds and ends to the right charities! Eyeglasses, electronics, even doggie pajamas to an animal shelter.
As my husband I prepared to relocate to CA, we worked with Anne to downsize and help us identify what we should keep, donate and discard before the big move. Anne’s support and advice were really helpful. Not only we were able to thoughtfully and objectively go through a very emotional process of letting go of our “stuff” but also learn “organizing” strategies to maintain our new baseline. Through Anne’s connections with local charities, we were also happy to know that most of our things went to people that really need them. And her calm attitude and structured approach were superb and greatly appreciated during this stressful time. Anne was recommended to us by our realtors when we decided to sell our house. Our realtors recommended we get rid of a third of our stuff before putting the house on the market. Having three small children with lots of clothing and toys, that task seemed to me unachievable! It was all overwhelming considering I have a toddler at home all the time who is making messes wherever she goes. I couldn’t keep up with those, let alone declutter the whole house! I had never thrown away or donated anything from my kids. All their shoes, baby clothing, and toys they had ever received were all in our house. Thank God for Anne and her talent to go through all our stuff with patience, respectful and not judgmental but very helpful, cleaning every shelf while we declutter and putting everything in an order that had not occurred to me. I chose Anne not only because I liked the way she presented herself and her company, but also because she could work very flexible around my schedule as a busy mom. I also really appreciated the fact that she knew exactly what purpose we could give everything I was ready to let go. Making it easier for me to part with everything. We worked as a team and got the job done on time! I loved how our closets, cabinets and drawers were organized!!

I can honestly write that we would not have been able to accomplish our move without the expertise and assistance of Anne. From the moment we informed her of our plans to move, she guided us through the process of determining what we would take and what we would leave. She provided us with an excellent list of places where we could sell, donate, or dispose of items we were leaving behind. With her specific recommendations, we were able to sell a number of items and ensure that others found good homes with charitable organizations. In addition, in the weeks leading up to the move, she consistently offered suggestions to keep us on track so that when the moving van arrived, we were ready. There were so many things I would not have thought of, including the packing of personal items for those few days of transition between the old house and the new, that saved us from numerous headaches. I was preparing for a move across country where I was going to a smaller place. Looking around at all my clutter, I was overwhelmed by it all. Anne from Sharp Space was a lot of help: she helped me break down what I had to do, how to break down the various rooms, and then showed up regularly to pick up things for donation or discarding. (Not having to worry about any of that on top of the sorting and downsizing was a huge weight off my shoulders and made the process much easier to handle.
